SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit a Java Developer to join a leading igaming company in their offices in the Mediterranean setting of Gibraltar. Working on constantly evolving projects and developing in a creative and proactive atmosphere, this role comes with the opportunity progress in a real market leader.
Responsibilities
* Interpret business requirements and where appropriate technical specification documents
* Perform coding using best practice
* Investigate, analyse and fix reported defects
* Continually improve code
* Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
* Communicate with other departments (to educate support staff, manage releases and communicate changes)
* Identify inefficiencies and where necessary implement changes to fix the end to end development process
Requirements
* Passion for programming
* Demonstrable Software Development experience
* Commitment to test driven development
* Knowledge of common design patterns
* Experience of enterprise application development
* Knowledge of database architecture and designAbility to identify functional and non-functional requirements
* Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines
* Java, Spring + Spring Integration, Maven, SCM, Continuous Integration eg Hudson, Application servers eg Tomcat, Weblogic, RDBMS eg Oracle
