Bloomberg has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Network Engineer for Feeds group. The Network Feeds group is responsible for the day to day support of Bloomberg¿s Asia market data infrastructure. This group is also responsible for designing, testing and implementing new market data connectivity solutions, providing Bloomberg with reliable and uninterrupted access to critical market data from Banks, Stock Exchanges &amp; News Agencies worldwide.&lt;br /&gt;

The team is looking for a Market Data Network expert to provide technical design, development, and support of various Market Data, Trading and News feeds. The successful candidate will be involved in all technical aspects of the network, from hands-on support to software driven network management and control.&lt;br /&gt;

The Requirements&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The candidate must have experience working with routers, switches and firewalls. The following experience is also essential for the role:&lt;br /&gt;
- Confidence building edge router configurations using Cisco, Juniper, and Nortel hardware.&lt;br /&gt;
- Thorough understanding of TCP/IP call setup, teardown and trouble-shooting with sniffers.&lt;br /&gt;
- Routing experience with a least 2 of the following protocols: OSPF/RIP/BGP/MPLS&lt;br /&gt;
- WAN experience with leased line connectivity&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience of network projects, troubleshooting, planning installation and management to strict timescales.&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience with Checkpoint, Juniper and other firewalls&lt;br /&gt;

Working hours : 7am - 5pm or 9am - 7pm on Monday to friday. Some public holiday / weekend cover may be occasionally required.&lt;br /&gt;
